What is Vedic Math?
Vedic Math is an ancient technique which was developed around 5000 years ago. The knowledge comes from Vedas which contained ancient text, related to science, astrology, physics, etc. One of the Vedas contained knowledge regarding Maths and came to be know as Vedic Math.
It was re-discovered in around 1911 to 1940 by Shri Bharati Krishna Tirthaji. The text was written in sanskrit and was disregarded as important due to inability of many scholars to convert the text into meaningful information. But Shri Bharati Krishna Tirthaji, were able write and convert this text. It is said that he wrote, 16 Books explaining all the principles of vedic math. However, all these books were lost and only a short summary was written before he died. The techniques given by vedic math has generated knowledge from scholars around the world.
But what are the benefits of vedic math to the common man, like you and me? These techniques are powerful and help us in our day to day life and some techniques are useful even to the scientist. In basic sense, vedic math gives tricks by which we can calculate much faster. These techniques given in vedic math do have a logical reasoning, but that depth cannot be covered for a normal human being, but the end tricks can be useful. For example, using vedic math, I can calculate 837272 x 999999 = 837271162728. It tool me 10 seconds to think and type. This was a simple example of vedic math. There are many others and when you join the course that I have created you will just be learning the fundamentals of vedic math and I am sure, by then of the course you will be amazed at the simplicity of vedic math in the same way as I was.
